Overview
Special Cables & Grounding Wire from YSN
Two very different duties sit in this family. Drag-chain cable is built for continuous reciprocating movement: super-fine copper strands, a special PVC compound and an anti-kink lay-up that survives millions of bending cycles on cranes, machine tools, robots and conveyor systems. Through-type grounding wire is the opposite kind of product: a soft copper conductor inside a seamless alloy sheath, laid along both cable troughs of a railway so that every structure and every item of equipment along the line sits at the same potential.

Why this product
What it gives the project
Built for movement
Super-fine class 6 strands and an anti-kink lay-up are what let the cable take millions of bending cycles instead of a few thousand.
Screened where it matters
Braided screen, or screened twisted pairs, keep drives and encoders quiet on the same drag chain.
Earthing that lasts
The seamless alloy sheath on the S-DH grounding wire protects the copper from the soil, which is why it is specified into railway troughs.
Made to the route
Lengths, cores and compounds are made to the drawing, with a sample approved before the batch runs.
Tell us the movement
Bending cycles, travel length, speed and the oil or coolant the cable meets decide the construction. Send those four numbers and we will return the cable, the screen and the length for the chain.
Ask for a drag-chain selectionSend us the load and the route
Tell us the current, voltage, route length and laying method. You will have a specification, a drawing and a price within one working day.
